Penny Wise, and Trillion Dollar Foolish

The Economy is on a downward slide.

We've printed more money to pay for "social" programs, and to save financial and industrial behemoths from certain failure. Yet, where is this money coming from?

The Federal Government is broke; California, the largest state in the Union is broke; Industry is broke, and even the nation's Banks are broke.

But, good-old Uncle Sam is trying to keep a straight face in the light of universal insolvency.

The whole world is broke; Except for a few tight wad Billionaires who are just ringing their hands like a mad scientist contemplating the monster that he has created.

Enter the current obsession with the Universal Health Care Reform.
Are they kidding us, or what?

Medicare and Social Security (are broke) are paying out more in benefits than what is taken in in revenue; The revenues that are collected can't keep up with all the harebrained Malthusian Fabian Social Engineering desires of the Obama Administration.

Where will all the funds for all these fantastic flights of fancy come from?

The Government is broke?
Cash for Clunkers?
Who's got money to buy a car?

John Q. Public and Jane Doe are being down-sized and laid-off in record setting numbers. They don't know where their next meal is coming from, they have families and household to support. They don't have jobs for life like the career poli-trickcians that devise all these outlandish social programs. They don't have cushy jet-set jobs with $200k-$400k salaries, with expense accounts and power lunches.

Universal Health Care? Because 47 million in the U.S. don't have Blue Cross?

How do you justify "forcing" compulsory medical insurance on 305 Million people?

OK, now who's going to pay for this?

The nation is broke? The Fiat Currency we use has brought us to the end of the game.

Will more money (we don't have, and doesn't exist) continue to be printed to pay for things we can't afford?

Penny Wise, and Trillion Dollar Foolish!

Like a day at the Amusement Park;
It will soon be time to get off the ride, leave the Carnival, and face reality.
