Europe infos, a Christian perspective on the European Union

COMECE and the Jesuit European Office are pleased to introduce a new version of Europe infos, in a new online format in colour.

Europe Infos is a monthly journal produced over the last fourteen years by the Commission of Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union (COMECE) and the Jesuit European Office (also known as OCIPE). This joint publication was preceded by two separate journals: L’Europe au fil des jours (1982-1996) published by COMECE, and OCIPE’s Objectif Europe (1981-1998).

Europe Infos aims to make the European project more accessible and comprehensible to Europe’s citizens, and in particular to local churches, by offering interpretations of the legislative and political activities of the EU (its institutional affairs, but also the underlying ethical and social themes of fundamental rights, social cohesion, migration and refugees, education, bioethics and so on).

Through this commentary, Europe Infosseeks to promote among the EU’s Christians, a more active interest and participation in the life of the EU.

Europe Infos is available in English, French and German. From this issue onward, the subscription is free, and may be taken out here.

http://www.europe-infos.eu/ is the new website through which articles may be read, and printed out individually. The complete version of Europe infos, in English and French, may be downloaded and printed out as a pdf document through the website.
